Well I have a solution for you to make your life a little easier.  It’s called ReceiptWallet and what it allows you to do (provided you have a scanner) is scan your receipts in to the program, categorize them, total them and even print reports.   You can even email a receipt from the program.  This way come tax time your ready to simply print a report and enter the totals.
